As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands — one for helping yourself, the other for helping others. Volunteering is at the very core of being a human. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help, The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
Volunteerism is the *voice* of the people put into action. These actions shape and mold the present into a future of which we can all be proud. We make a living by what *we get*.
We make a life by what *we give*. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that has happened. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” *Helen Keller* (This was a Woman horned *blind, dumb and deaf but we are reading FROM her) Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a *heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. “Martin Luther King, Jr.”
Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” Volunteers do not necessarily have the *time*; they simply have *the heart.”*
Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth because you are just doing the works of an ambassador of heaven. We cannot live only for *ourselves*. A thousand reasons connect us with our fellow men I urge young people to consider *SERVITUDE*, by volunteering in their community.
*MOTIVATION*
The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment. Winners embrace hard work.They love the discipline of it. Losers see hard work as a form of punishment
And that’s the difference. No one is perfect. Even the most confident people have insecurities.
We must try to live as per our capability. Being strong doesn’t mean you’ll never get hurt. It means that even when you do get hurt, you’ll never let it defeat you. You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. Do not let people and circumstances make you feel any less. A strong person knows they have strength enough for their journey, but a person of strength knows that it is in their journey where they will become strong. The People Who Have The Biggest Impact On Your Life Stay For The Shortest Time, Avoiding the phrase I don’t have time, will soon help you to realize that you do have the time needed for just about anything you choose to accomplish in life.
Before you criticize someone, try to walk a mile in their shoes. That way, by the time you say something bad about them, you are one mile away and they have got no shoes on.
Don’t burn bridges. You’ll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river.
